It’s time for more Pong games, according to Atari, who are offering up to $100,000 for the best Pong reboot.
Entrants are asked initially to submit design documents, though playable versions are also accepted. Semifinalists will then have a month and a half to take the game from design to playable demo, so developers with playable prototypes earlier in the contest will have a huge headstart here.
The game has to be designed for iOS devices, so no Flash games, and it’s only open to US residents. If that doesn’t rule you out, you can get more information about the contest over on Atari’s site.
